„Songs & Whispers“ – The Muddy Crows

Wie Marc schon geschrieben hatte, unverhofft kommt oft. Obwohl die „Songs & Whispers“ Tour im Dohm-Eck eigentlich schon längst beendet war, hatten sich plötzlich “The Muddy Crows” aus Washington DC angemeldet. Die normalerweise 5 Köpfige Band war allerdings nur zu Dritt angereist, Schlagzeuger Dan Perriello und Gitarist Bruno Campos fehlten bei ihrem Auftritt im Dohm-Eck. Die Drei Anwesenden, Dan Wolff (Gesang, Gitarre), Eric Grabow (Bass) und Steve Mead (Keyboard, Gesang) überzeugten mit ihren Modern Americana Folk Rock Titeln und einigen Coversongs. Dan Wolff hatte seinen “kleinen” Bruder mitgebracht, der zwischendurch immer wieder ein paar Clips für die Band drehte. Das Dohm-Eck war mit etwa 50 Gästen genauso gut gefüllt wie die frisch gezapften Biere, die über die Ladentheke gingen. Nach einer kurzen Rede von Marc wurde wieder der Hut herumgereicht und Marc berichtete, dass dieses Jahr noch weitere musikalische Auftritte im Dohm-Eck folgen werden. Wir können uns also wieder auf tolle Konzerte im Dohm-Eck freuen. Am Ende der Vorstellung gab es einen satten Applaus, der nicht enden wollte und so mußten noch zwei Zugaben gespielt werden.

Unexpectedly “The Muddy Crows” from Washington DC came in for a concert, although the “Songs & Whispers” tour was actually already finished in the Dohm-Eck. The normally 5 headed band arrived only with 3 guys, the drummer Dan Perriello and guitar player Bruno Campos stood in Washington DC and can’t perform in the Dohm-Eck. The three present players, Dan Wolff (vocals, guitar), Eric Grabow (bass) and Steve Mead (keyboards, vocals) impressed with its Modern Americana folk-rock songs and some cover songs. Dan Wolff had brought his “little” brother, who took a few clips of the band. The Dohm-Eck was with about 50 guests as well filled as the fresh draft beers that were sold at the bar. After a short speech by Marc the HAT was given around again and Marc reported that this year will be followed by some other musical performances in the Dohm-Eck. We can look foreward to great concerts in the Dohm-Eck. At the end of the concert there was a rich applause that never ended and so “The Muddy Crows” had to play two more titles.
